This album is dedicated to my father whose love for jazz first filled the rooms of my childhood. At the piano he spoke a language beyond words - one of swing, tenderness and quiet courage. Though he is no longer here to play beside me every note I sing carries the echo of his hands on the keys and the spirit of the music he loved. When playing a medley of songs he would always end with Stardust, his favourite, hence it's placement at the end. With gratitude, love and everychord in between- this is for you Dad.
